2019 Donor Update

Dear Friends of Friend2Friend Book Project,

2019 has been an incredible year of reaching out to some incredible kids all across America with hope and encouragement. F2FBP is always amazed at the God-given fighting spirit innate in every little warrior that battles a life-changing medical challenge. Whether in our network of 2000 elementary schools in 36 states, partnering children's hospitals or families we come across in conventions and festivals - there are amazing stories of families facing the most excruciating diagnosis' with faith and fight but also fear and uncertainty:

*Jacksonville, FL 10-year-old son diagnosed with Leukemia
*Greensboro, NC - 3-year-old daughter of local newscaster battling leukemia
*Virginia - 5-year-old diagnosed with Leukemia
*Columbia, SC - 4-year-old girl who has had 4 heart surgeries already in her young life with another 4 surgeries in her future
*Chattanooga, TN - little girl with down syndrome battling cardiomyopathy
*Memphis, TN - two-year-old boy battling two rare forms of cancer
*NW Arkansas - little 5-year-old Evie diagnosed at birth with leukemia and started chemo at 1 month. She has been on a feeding tube for 2-3 years.

These are just a few of the precious little ones that we have personally met along with their family members in 2019. Your past donations have driven home an undeniable truth to them - "No one hurts alone" - you are being thought of and prayed for.  The Pass Love Along book is a constant reminder of this truth.

PASS LOVE ALONG IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

This real story of 5-year-old Caroline who is battling Leukemia has been a source of encouragement, comfort, and hope for thousands of kids and their families. We are finding out that parents are also buying this book for their kids who have friends battling life-changing medical challenges. Pass Love Along is helping these friends connect and understand what their friends and family members are going through.

This year we created an apparel line with characters from all of Ronda's books.  We have shirts that go along with Pass Love Along. We created the shirts as another visual reminder to these little warriors that someone is watching over them and they have several teams in their corner. Check them out at Apparel.

Ronda has written a precious bedtime Song/story book that can be both read and sung to the child and F2FBP now has another book to help bring comfort and hope to these families - especially those with little ones.  The book is called Love Me, Love Me to Bed. Your generosity now has two opportunities to share HOPE. . .

Donor Match

Your gift brings Smiles of Hope 365 days a year and in partnership with our publishing company - Sunflower Seeds Press and our book printer, Jostens - your generous donation is matched!

If you'd like to donate as this year draws to an end,  just go to DONATE and you can either donate any amount you'd like (each Pass Love Along book costs $15). If you'd rather give for the upcoming year we are asking our donors to make their donation by January 15th as this helps our planning for the New Year. Thanks again for considering and we know the kids and their families appreciate you reaching out to them in what can seem like a very lonely and hopeless time.

With grateful hearts,
Bill and Ronda
